This Privacy Policy explains how Edward George Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit edwardgeorge.net (the “Site”), contact us, book a session, or subscribe to our newsletter.

• Information you give us. When you use our booking, contact, or newsletter forms we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, a preferred session date, and your message.
• Booking information. If you schedule an appointment online, we collect the date, time, and contact details needed to confirm it.
• Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our servers and tools record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring site, and the date and time of your visit.
• Email engagement. Our newsletters may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can improve our content.

2. How we use your information

• To reply to inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule sessions, and deliver photography services.
• To send the newsletter and updates you asked for. Newsletter sign-ups use a double opt-in confirmation email, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
• To follow up on an inquiry you sent us (for example, a confirmation that we received it and a short follow-up).
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. Service providers we use

We share information only with trusted providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform their services:

• Website hosting and content delivery (our hosting provider and Cloudflare), which process technical data to deliver and protect the Site.
• Cloudflare Turnstile and a honeypot tool, which help us tell people from spam bots on our forms.
• Fluent Forms, FluentCRM, and FluentBooking, which store form submissions, contacts, newsletter preferences, and bookings on our own website server.
• Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), which delivers our emails.
• Analytics tools (Google Analytics via Google Site Kit, Matomo, and Independent Analytics), which help us understand how visitors use the Site.
• Security tools (Wordfence), which log IP addresses and requests to protect the Site against attacks.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and browser storage for essential functions (such as security checks and remembering that you closed or completed a pop-up) and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended if you do.

5. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data.

6. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any newsletter.
• Ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.

7. Photographs and client galleries

Images we create for clients are handled according to the agreement for each session. We will not publish identifiable client photos in our portfolio, blog, or social media without the permission described in that agreement.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), security monitoring, and backups, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
